Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2026
These terms govern your use of Ask an Estate Planner. By using the site you agree to them. They are provided as a clear summary and should be reviewed by your own legal adviser before launch.
What we are
Ask an Estate Planner is an independent comparison service for estate planning in England & Wales. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice or prepare legal documents. We help you compare and connect with independent, BCEP-trained planners.
Quotes and prices
Prices shown are provided by independent planners and are indicative until confirmed directly with the provider. Third-party fees — such as the £92 Office of the Public Guardian registration fee per LPA — are charged separately and are not included in provider quotes.
Your enquiry
When you compare, you agree that the planners you choose may contact you about your enquiry. You confirm the details you provide are accurate and that you’re entitled to share them.
Liability
Any contract for services is between you and the planner you choose. We are not responsible for the advice, documents or services provided by third-party planners, though we only list BCEP-trained planners and welcome feedback about your experience.
